In the U.S., November is our month dedicated to giving thanks. Of course, we don’t have many fun songs or TV specials about Thanksgiving, and a lot of Americans probably have their Christmas decorations up before the day’s over (if not before). Plus, as the typical Thanksgiving mascot, the turkey will most likely end up on the dinner table with various family members jockeying over its wishbone. (Sadly, there’s no Island of Lost Poultry where poor Tom or Tina Turkey can take refuge.)
Despite these drawbacks, Thanksgiving is one of our most cherished holidays—and for good reason. It can be easy to forget in these turbulent economic times, but we have a lot to be thankful for. We at CIare truly thankful for you: our readers and online community. You inspire us every day to provide high-quality content in a multitude of platforms to help you succeed in your businesses.
Toward that end, our annual Equipment Digest is the star of this issue. This exclusive year-round reference tool incorporates definitions and suppliers* for hundreds of different types of machinery and equipment. In order to help you find exactly what you need, products are listed alphabetically, and definitions explain what each product is and how it is typically used for manufacturing processes in the ceramic, glass, brick or related industry.
In addition, supplier listings include contact information so you can easily follow up to request more information about the products you’re interested in. The Equipment Digest is also available and fully searchable online at http://directories.ceramicindustry.com/equipmentdigest.
What are you most thankful for this year? Please contact me at (330) 336-4098 or firstname.lastname@example.org to share your good news.
