A key Sacmi supply recently went to Ceramica Fincibec, a company in the Sassuolo district that has been doing business since the 1960s. Initially a producer of porcelain floor tile, the company has extended its range by continuing to innovate and focus on technological research and eco-sustainability. It has installed a new production line for ceramic slabs as big as 1200 x 1200 and 800 x 1600 mm.

A key element of this new production line is the Imola-series PH 7500 press, specially designed to make very large ceramic slabs. The press features the electronic SPE ejection device, designed to manage thickness adjustments fully automatically, while the linear filler box is synchronized with the press. These axes reportedly coordinate solutions that allow the 75,000 kN press to achieve such high output rates.

Sacmi also supplied the company with a fast vertical EVA 412 dryer. This machine features hygrometric devices capable of optimizing the drying process and the inverters, which can minimize energy consumption.
