Mohammed Named President and CEO for GE Power Conversion
GE recently announced that Azeez Mohammed has been appointed president and CEO of GE Energy Connections’ Power Conversion business.
GE recently announced that Azeez Mohammed has been appointed president and CEO of GE Energy Connections’ Power Conversion business. He comes to Power Conversion from his most recent role as president and CEO of GE’s Power Services business for the Middle East and Africa. Mohammed reportedly will lead the company to reinforce its digital capacity while bringing a new focus on research and development, increasing the company’s ability to provide innovative solutions to customers for electrifying tomorrow’s energy. He holds master’s and doctorate degrees from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, all in Mechanical Engineering.
Mohammed will be responsible for continuing to build the Power Conversion business, which drives the electric transformation of the world’s energy infrastructure across multiple industries. Mohammed will strengthen the capacity of Power Conversion’s service network especially in emerging markets. Mohammed will be based at Power Conversion’s headquarters in Paris.
