Grieve Corp.’s model number 1027 is a 550°F electric cabinet oven currently used for drying pellets in pans at a customer’s facility. With workspace dimensions of 47 x 30 x 63 in., the unit features 30 KW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber. A 2,000 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the workload. 

The oven features 6-in. insulated walls; aluminized steel exterior; type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior; four independent doors for access to the workspace; and eight 20 x 30 x 1-in. loading pans on channel supports in each oven opening. Controls for the unit include a digital indicating temperature controller, a manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, and a recirculating blower airflow safety switch.
