AAI Names Armorworks Manufacturer of the Year (6/14/06)

ArmorWorks is the 2006 Arizona Association of Industries (AAI) Manufacturer of the Year in the medium size company category. This statewide competition serves to bring attention and acknowledgment to Arizona's manufacturing community and the contributions its members make to the state both economically and socially. ArmorWorks received this award for its forward thinking in product development, its ability to utilize technology and its strong commitment to the state of Arizona. The company provides high-tech armor protection, with systems in service around the world in all branches of the U.S. military. Recently, ArmorWorks has been developing a seat system that prevents spinal compression injuries to U.S. troops caused by landmine detonations.
