ACIMAC recently signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation on the ACIMAC Quality Mark project.

ACIMAC, the Italian ceramic plant and machinery manufacturers' association, and TUV Italia, an independent certification and inspection body, recently signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation on the ACIMAC Quality Mark project promoted by ACIMAC to certify the quality and reliability of Italian ceramic machinery and technology. "Italian ceramic production technology is already the world leader in terms of quality, reliability and innovative content, aspects that are recognized by customers in all markets," said Pierluigi Ponzoni, ACIMAC chairman designate. "However, we aim to improve on this by having these contents validated by one of the most accredited independent third-party bodies in the world." TUV Italia will be responsible for carrying out all the inspections, measurements and checks necessary to certify that the manufacturers and the individual ceramic machines meet the various requirements embodied in the mark.
