On that day, each of Acme’s 2800 employees received a “birthday present” of four clear tumbler glasses, each bearing a different photographic image of an event in Acme’s history. Acme was established April 17, 1891, near Weatherford, Texas.
“We’re taking this occasion of Acme’s birthday to remind everyone in our company about Acme’s history and heritage,” said Dennis Knautz, president and chief executive officer.
The gift is also intended to be an element of Acme’s ongoing Wellness Program. Recent medical research indicates that most people do not drink enough water. Acme’s management expects that the tumblers will remind their employees of the importance of good health and the company’s Wellness Program.
