Acme Brick Engineers Earn LEED Certification (posted 11/24/09)

Acme Brick recently announced that all of the company’s professional engineers have successfully completed the LEED-AP certification.

Acme Brick Co. recently announced that all of the company’s professional engineers have successfully completed the LEED-AP certification. They are: David Gastgeb, PE, LEED-AP, in Acme’s Oklahoma City, Okla., office; John Swink, PE, LEED-AP, headquartered in Acme’s Euless, Texas, office; and John Bufford, PE, LEED-AP, in the Acme Little Rock, Ark., regional office.

“All of us at Acme Brick want to congratulate these three employees on their successful completion of the challenging LEED-AP test,” said Dennis Knautz, president and CEO. “This illustrates the commitment of Acme Brick to green design, sustainability and our environment.”

Acme Brick’s three regional engineers are available to provide design and technical support to architects, engineers and other design professionals. Each is a registered professional engineer and now a LEED accredited professional.
