Alcoa recently announced a series of personnel changes. William F. Christopher has been named executive vice president of Alcoa and group president for Alcoa Aerospace, Automotive and Commercial Transportation. Paul D. Thomas has become vice president of Alcoa and group president for North American Fabricated Products. Robert S. Hughes has been named chairman's counsel and will retire in mid-2003. Robert T. Alexander has been elected vice president of Alcoa and chairman of the AFL joint venture. Frank M. Larence has been named president of Diversified Products for the company. And Jody Gallagher succeeds Larence as president of AFL Telecommunications.
