Allied Mineral Acquires Chicago Fire Brick

Allied Mineral Products, Inc. recently announced that it has completed the acquisition of certain assets of the Chicago Fire Brick and Wellsville Fire Brick companies (also known as Chicago-Wellsville). Those assets include all of the monolithic refractory product formulas, brand names and all Chicago-Wellsville company names and trademarks. Effective immediately, these companies will be known as the Chicago Fire Brick Division of Allied Mineral Products, Inc. Chicago Fire Brick products will be sold through Allied's existing sales force. Dale Last, Bob Wells and Jack Wisely have joined the Allied sales team to focus primarily on Chicago Fire Brick product sales.
