Allied Mineral Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Texas Facility

Allied Mineral Products, Inc. recently announced the grand opening of its manufacturing facility in Brownsville, Texas. The plant began producing and shipping product in September 2003, primarily serving customers in Mexico and the western U.S. The facility also provides a backup manufacturing location for the company's primary manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. The grand opening celebration was attended by many local authorities, as well as customers and suppliers. Allied also received a letter from U.S. Senator John Cornyn praising the company's decision to build a plant in Texas and use NAFTA to export goods to Mexico.
