MoreALSTOM Power Inc., Air Preheater Co., headquartered in Wellsville, NY., and part of the Energy and Environment Systems Group within ALSTOM Power, will be embarking on an expansion project to build an additional 44,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space at its Andover Rd. facility. The $15 million expansion project is a result of a solid business plan and increased orders for the company’s product lines, which include heat recovery and various coal and mineral grinding technologies.
The investment in the Wellsville facility will include new state-of-the-art machinery that will enable the company to increase its global competitive edge with regard to technology, welding and machinery. Renovations of existing buildings to increase efficiencies are also planned.
