Users can optimize mill operation and ensure peak performance with the new Raytrol-OptiMill(TM) control software from ALSTOM Power, Inc., Air Preheater Co., Raymond Operations. Designed to monitor system parameters and control roller mill systems automatically, the software reduces dependency on manpower and helps increase capacity and reduce operating costs. The software can be used on Raymond(R) roller mills and similar pulverizing systems. Featuring an optimization algorithm and built-in intelligence, the software goes through an initial learning procedure to build a knowledge base for processing specific material on a given pulverizing system.
