American Technical Ceramics Announces Results

American Technical Ceramics Corp. recently announced financial results for the second fiscal quarter and the six months ended December 31, 2002. Net sales for the quarter were $11,561,000, essentially flat compared to $11,582,000 in the comparable quarter in the previous year. The net loss amounted to $330,000, or approximately $.04 per common share for the quarter ended December 31, 2002, compared with net loss of $1,038,000, or approximately $.13 per common share, for the comparable quarter ended December 31, 2001. Net sales for the six months ended December 31, 2002, decreased 6% to $24,048,000 from $25,487,000 in the comparable period in fiscal year 2002. Net income amounted to $8,000 for the six months ended December 31, 2002, compared with a net loss of $740,000, or approximately $.09 per common share, for the comparable period ended December 31, 2001.
