Aremco Products, Inc.: CeramacastTM 586

Aremco Products, Inc.'s new CeramacastTM586 is a zirconium-phosphate based, chemically setting ceramic compound ideal for bonding and encapsulating high temperature electrical components such as heaters, halogen lamps, gas ignitors and temperature sensors for applications to 2800F (1534C). The compound exhibits exceptional electrical and mechanical properties. The dielectric strength and volume resistivity are 220 volts/mil and 10(11) ohm-cm, respectively. The compressive strength is 8000 psi and the coefficient of thermal expansion is 2.7 in/in/F (4.9 in/in/C) x 10(-6).
