Aremco-Bond^TM 2300 from Aremco Products, Inc. is a rubber toughened, translucent white, ultra high strength epoxy adhesive system that provides a lap shear strength to aluminum of 4560 psi. With a relatively low heat cure, it develops excellent bond strength to most substrates, including ceramics, glass, metals, wood, matrix composites and engineered thermoplastics. Aremco-Bond 2300 is a 100% solids epoxy system that is mixed in a ratio of 100 parts resin to 10 parts hardener by weight to a viscosity of 5000 cps. Curing occurs at room temperature in 24-48 hours or can be accelerated at 150F in two hours. Cured product demonstrates a Shore-D hardness of 85, service temperature resistance of 325F and outstanding chemical resistance.
