Graphi-Bond^TM 551-R from Aremco Products, Inc. is a single part, graphite and ceramic filled, high temperature adhesive system. It can be used to bond carbon-carbon and graphite components and structures used in oxidizing and reducing atmospheres to 2500F and 5400F, respectively. The adhesive is typically used to bond and patch carbon-carbon and graphite components such as RF susceptors, fixtures, electrodes, crucibles, furnace parts, and metal and continuous casting dies. Due to its low coefficient of thermal expansion -- 4.1 ppm x 10(-6) -- which matches most grades of carbon and graphite, it is ideal for thermal cycling applications.
