Aremco Products, Inc.: Machinable Ceramics

Aremco Products, Inc. now offers a complete range of machinable ceramic materials for applications to 3000C. Several standard compositions are offered, including aluminum oxide, aluminum nitride, aluminum silicate, boron nitride, glass ceramic, magnesium oxide and zirconium phosphate. Properties include temperature resistance from 370 to 3000C, coefficients of expansion from .5 to 6.0 ppm/F, compressive strengths from 4800 to 340,000 psi, dielectric strengths from 80 to 1340 volts/mil and thermal conductivities from .41 to 55 W/m-K.
