The U.S Army Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) in Warren, Mich., has awarded ArmorWorks an $18 million delivery order for the production of crew protection kits for the U.S. Army's M915 tactical truck. Manufactured using the latest ceramic composite technology, the ArmorWorks armor kits will provide the M915 tractor cab and its personnel with protection against small arms fire, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and roadside bombs like those encountered in Iraq. "We are pleased to provide our military with the finest protection available," said Bill Perciballi, president and founder. "Thanks to the continued efforts of our dedicated employees, these contracts secure our position as one of the leading suppliers of advanced armor systems to the U.S. military."
