Ascon Corp. recently introduced to the North American market the GammaDue series of universal controllers, setpoint programmer-controllers and indicators. The GammaDue series is available in a complete range of sizes, from 1/32 DIN to 1/4 DIN. These PC configurable instruments are available with a variety of additional features, including analog or digital inputs and all types of output (relay, SSR, SSr drive, mA and Volt). Interfacing is available through three types of serial communications with either of the two most established standard protocols -- Modbus and PROFIBUS DP. The integration of Modbus Master with the mathematical package allows the top range instrument to receive, process and send data to other GammaDue controllers or controllers equipped with Modbus Slave serial communications.
