ASI Purchases Facility

Applied Superabrasives, Inc. (ASI) recently purchased a 31,000-square- foot facility, allowing the company to double its manufacturing and plating capacity. The company can accommodate parts from 0.20 in. in diameter to over 36 in. in diameter. The latest expansion will allow ASI to improve its in-house CNC machining and grinding departments. The company's design and development department has added the latest computer aided design (CAD) software available, and the company reports it is capable of electronic data interface through the most up-to-date methods, ensuring engineering information is shared in the quickest and most accurate way.
