Baltea Digital Ceramic (D.C.), a member of the Baltea group, was created at the beginning of 2005 to take advantage of the technology created by the parent company for colored toners in ceramic applications. Baltea is a leading manufacturer of toners and photoconductors for laser printers and photocopiers. From 2002 to 2004, Baltea developed and created toners that can withstand extremely high temperatures and are thus suitable for use in applications where firing is involved; this technological innovation can be applied to materials such as ceramics, glass, varnished sheets, etc. A new system is available to revolutionize quality and costs in the decorative arts. Through the use of color laser printers, the system can print in A3 and A4 formats with resolutions of 1200 x 1200 dpi on special support, enabling the transfer of printed images to ceramic objects.
