It's time to register for beginner pottery classes at Fired Up Studios in Minneapolis, Minn.

Aspiring potters, take note: registration for beginner classes at Fired Up Studios in Minneapolis, Minn., ends on June 2. The class is for adults (ages 18+) who have little or no previous experience with the basics of wheel-thrown pottery. Classes start on June 9 and are held once a week for eight weeks. The $230 class fee covers instruction, tools, 25 lbs. of clay and extra studio time to practice your techniques.

For pottery lovers whose schedules won't allow for a weekly class, Fired Up also offers a two-hour Wheel Experience workshop or Friday night Clay Dates (perfect for couples) on a regular basis. For more information about classes, memberships or other upcoming events, visit
