Blum Appointed President of Kirk & Blum

David M. Blum has been appointed president of Kirk & Blum, one of five subsidiaries of air-pollution control provider CECO Environmental. Blum had been vice president of business development for the company since 1997, and continues to hold the position of senior vice president of CECO. He succeeds R.J. Blum, Jr., who will devote more time to his role as president of CECO. David Blum has held a variety of positions with Kirk & Blum in sales and engineering, and served as manager of the Louisville Division from 1984-1997. He earned a bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Cincinnati.
