Bodycote North America, Inc., a subsidiary of Bodycote International plc, recently announced that BorgWarner Automotive has selected Bodycote Lansing, Mich., to receive its Zero Defect Supplier Award. This is the second consecutive year that the facility has achieved this recognition. Hundreds of suppliers are considered for the award each year. "The Zero Defect Award marks Bodycote's commitment to excellence," said Kevin Brown, general manager of Bodycote Lansing. "It speaks highly of the Bodycote team in Lansing, Mich." According to Jeff Pyne, regional director of the company's Midwest Group, "Commercial heat treating is proving with awards like these that subcontracting critical processes can be trusted to proven suppliers like Bodycote."
