Andritz Inc., Muncy, Pa., has been awarded ISO 9001, 1994 certification for process machinery, automation and systems for the pulp and paper, feed and grain, food, chemical and other industries.

Haiku Tech, Inc., Miami, Fla., has been named the exclusive representative in the Americas for Keko Equipment, manufacturers of custom designed front-end equipment for the production of all multilayer ceramic passive components and devices.

Pacific Industrial Development Corp. (PIDC), Ann Arbor, Mich., has been ranked number 62 on the 1999 Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest growing privately held companies, making it number one in Michigan.

Rohm and Haas Co., Philadelphia, Pa., has announced a $0.03 per wet pound price increase for most of its acrylic-based dispersants and Acusol® rheology modifiers in North America.

USS Holdings, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., parent company of USS Silica Co., has acquired Commercial Stone Co., Inc., a privately held producer of aggregates and asphalt paving materials. USS Holdings has also changed its name to Better Minerals and Aggregates Co.

WBB Fuchs-Keramische Massen, Ransbach-Baumbach, Germany, has been awarded ISO 9002 certification for its quality assurance program.

Zircoa, Inc., Solon, Ohio, has received ISO 9002 certification for its entire quality system.
