Carbolite: Ashing Furnaces

Carbolite will show a new line of ashing furnaces, along with a wide selection of other thermal equipment, at PITTCON 2001. The ashing furnaces have been designed mainly for combusting materials such as plastics, coal and other hydrocarbons that generate aggressive fumes. Air flows through the chambers, which are accurately controlled to ensure optimum ashing performance and effective fume control. A model with a fused quartz chamber is available for procedures where a dust- free environment is particularly important. The design of this model also protects the elements from harmful vapors and minimizes gas leakage. See the ashing furnace and other models with operating temperatures from 300-1800C at booth number 5220 at PITTCON 2001.
