Carl Zeiss MicroImaging, Inc. has introduced a number of innovative microscopy solutions to users in materials sciences, analysis and inspection. Advancements, which are tailored specifically to materials applications, will not just facilitate microscopists' work, but also provide better results and understanding of materials structures. Several new upright and inverted microscopes have been introduced. From the new Axiovert 200 inverted metallurgical microscope to the Axioskop 40 POL, every effort was made to incorporate simplicity for the routine while maintaining sophistication for research. Addressing critical issues, such as ease of use, ergonomics and system integrated solutions, was the goal for these microscope systems.
