Sacmi has developed an e-learning project that is now being used by Australian company Caroma.

The Sacmi e-learning project was initiated in 2003 to make the training and maintenance of the company’s machines more efficient. In addition, using an Internet-based training tool can simplify the learning process and allow access 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“For customers like Australian company Caroma, for whom there are obvious geographical hindrances to attending training sessions at Sacmi, an e-learning project means that distance is no longer a problem, thus contact with Sacmi is improved,” said Daniele Coralli, manager of Sacmi’s Sanitaryware and Tableware business unit. “Caroma has seen a huge advantage in our e-learning project, regarding it as an important opportunity to take and appreciating the added value that Sacmi supplies along with its machines.”

Caroma uses three of the e-learning courses: AVM Machine Training, Sanitaryware Production Process and Porous Resin Molds. The courses feature a storyboard, texts, images and high-definition video clips, as well as corresponding tests.
