Ceradyne, Inc. recently reported results for the fourth quarter and 12 months ended December 31, 2004. Sales for the year ended December 31, 2004, increased to a record $215.6 million, up 112.5% from $101.5 million in 2003. For the year ended December 31, 2004, net income increased to $27.6 million, or $1.12 per diluted share, on 24,598,000 average shares outstanding, from $11.2 million, or $0.51 per diluted share, on 21,900,000 shares, for the year ended December 31, 2003.
