Ceralink Expanding Testing Center With Microwave Assisted Furnace

Ceralink Inc. was recently awarded $48,000 from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to be used for building a $100,000 microwave assist electric furnace. Microwave assist technology, patent owned by C-Tech Innovations (UK), uses microwave energy to assist with either conventional electric or gas firing. This new microwave assist electric furnace will expand Ceralink's Microwave Testing Center's capabilities and allow the company to demonstrate feasibility for companies that will benefit from this technology. Ceralink's Microwave Testing Center is a progressive laboratory that offers clients the ability to explore microwave technology in step wise stages. The company offers snap shot feasibility studies and extended feasibility and scale up services, as well as unbiased consulting on microwave equipment.
