Ceralink Receives DOE Grant (7/18/06)

Ceralink, Inc. has received a $250,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Inventions & Innovation grant program for its patent-pending radio frequency (RF) heating glass lamination technology. This innovation brings together the laminated glass industry and the RF heating industry with the potential to replace energy-intensive, multi-step processes with an energy efficient, single-step process that allows higher throughput. Ceralink was one of 10 grantees selected for funding based on its technology's energy-saving potential; 219 pre-applications were submitted at the beginning of the FY 2006 competitive solicitation process.

Ceralink's website is located at www.ceralink.com.
