This year, Ceramaseal marks its 50th anniversary as a leader in the high-tech industry of ceramic to metal and glass ceramic seals. Founded in 1951 by former General Electric engineer Herbert Omley, the company began with Omley's conviction that these ceramic to metal seals were an important innovation and a marketable, useful product in many industries. Today, Ceramaseal is a global business with representative offices in 24 countries around the globe. International expansion and development have been driving the company's growth and have accounted for a 75% growth rate over the last four years.
