Ceramic Services, Inc. was recently contracted to design, supply and install a new shuttle kiln for Refractron Technologies of Newark, N.Y. The fully automated kiln, which features PC control, is rated for 2400°F and includes a fully refractoried kiln car and tracks. The new kiln has resulted in improved production and scrap rates for Refractron's ceramic production facility.
