CERAMITEC 2012 organizers recently released details of the event, which will take place May 22-25 in Munich, Germany. The event will open with a panel discussion on “Cost- and Energy-Efficiency,” and the supporting program covers a different theme on each of the three days of the show.

The supporting program, held in the CERAMITEC Forum in Hall A5, offers a platform for information gathering, knowledge transfer, research and development. Attendance at all the specialist lectures and panel discussions is free of charge. Simultaneous interpretation (German/English) is provided at all the lectures.

A Heavy Clay Day will take place on May 23. Speakers will discuss the subject of conservation of natural resources and energy efficiency, as well as the opportunities this opens up for the heavy clay industry. In addition, for the first time, the European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS) working group will participate in this event, in the form of a panel discussion.

The 10th International Symposium on Ceramic Materials and Components for Energy and Environmental Applications (CMCEE) will take place May 20-23 in Dresden. On May 23, the delegates will transfer to Munich for CERAMITEC, where the conference will continue in the form of the Technical Ceramics Day on May 24. Many of the delegates from the CMCEE International Symposium are expected to attend this day as speakers and discussion partners.
