CeramTec North America recently announced successful re-certifications at both of its U.S.-based manufacturing sites. This includes ISO-9001:2000 International Standard at the company's New Lebanon Operations (Ceramaseal Division) and ISO/QS-9000 at its Laurens Operations. "These valued certifications are one part of CeramTec North America's commitment to our customers," said Walt Dollman, president. "I am pleased our operations continue to maintain these standards." The company also indicated its plan to secure ISO-14000 and TS-16949 certification at its Laurens operations by the end of 2004. "These are important upgrades to support our growing automotive product sector business," said Ken Hewlett, Automotive Product sales manager.
