The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recently awarded the Craft Emergency Relief Fund + Artists' Emergency Resources (CERF+) with honorable mentions in two categories of this year's Individual and Community Preparedness Awards. From a pool of nearly 200 organizations, CERF+ was chosen to be honored in the Innovative Training and Education Programs category, as well as the Promising Partnerships category.
CERF+'s Studio Protector toolkit played a large role in earning recognition for the agency. The toolkit includes a two-part guide to help studio artists prepare for and respond to emergencies. For more information, visit www.craftemergency.org or www.studioprotector.org.
