The Ceramic Manufacturers Association (CerMA) will hold its Fall Conference on Drying, Glazing, Decorating and Firing December 6-7 at the Holiday Inn - North Canton in Canton, Ohio. Previous registrations and payments for the rescheduled September 13-14 conference have been transferred to this conference. Topics to be discussed include "Understanding the Process of Drying," Characterizing Ceramics During the Drying Process," "Drying of Gypsum Molds," How Various Ceramic Glazes are Rheologically affected by Common Glaze Additives," "Modern Ceramic Printing Technology," "Engineering Advanced Kiln Cars," and "Maximizing Temperature Uniformity Can be the Key to Successful Firing." The conference will also feature a tour of the U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. facility in East Sparta, Ohio.
