"Cutting Energy Costs: Strategies for Better Kiln Fuel Efficiency" will be held August 10 at 2 p.m. EDT. In this new web seminar hosted by "Ceramic Industry" magazine, Ralph Ruark, a technical consultant who has assisted dozens of ceramic companies with kiln and firing improvements, will outline basic strategies that every manufacturing plant can follow to optimize kiln fuel efficiency. Using a typical gas-fired tunnel kiln as an example, the web seminar will analyze every detail affecting energy consumption and will walk attendees through simple adjustments that can provide measurable improvements. Learn how to reduce heat losses, minimize air infiltration, optimize combustion system design, use preheated air and excess air more effectively, and more. The one-hour web seminar will include both the presentation and an interactive QA session. Registration is $129 and includes a copy of the presentation.
