Manufactured with a convenient 110-volt power supply and standard outlet plug, the model 1704FL furnace is user-friendly, installing in only minutes. Rated to operate continuously at 1700C, this furnace uses high-purity alumina fiber and Kanthal Super(R) 1800 molydisilicide heating elements, assuring rapid heat up and cool down rates. The 4 x 4 x 4-in. heated chamber is appropriately sized to accommodate most laboratory applications.
