Ruco 930-UV is a new ultraviolet curable screen printing ink for the decoration of glass and ceramics. According to the company, this series offers excellent chemical and water resistant properties. The ink system is free from heavy metals, solvents and toxic organic compounds, and it complies with the DIN EN 71 and the regulations for the decoration of food packaging. Advantages of the system reportedly include the ability to print at high speeds (exceeding 60 pieces per minute), energy savings due to the reduced oven temperature of only 180°C for 30 minutes, full color matching system availability and higher gloss than conventional inks.
