Ruco 930-UV ultraviolet curable screenprinting ink for the decoration of glass, ceramic and metals reaches the previously unobtainable goal of making a chemical bond to glass without silane pretreatment, thus promoting superior water resistance as well as resistance to scratch and abrasion. The ink system is free from heavy metals, solvents or toxic organic compounds and complies with the DIN EN 71 and the regulations for the decoration of food packaging. Some of the system’s advantages include the ability to print at speeds exceeding 60 pieces per minute, energy savings due to reduced oven temperatures (180°C for 30 minutes), full color matching system availability and higher gloss than conventional inks.
