Control Instruments Corp. recently announced that its full line of PrevEx flammability analyzers has received ATEX approval. The analyzers monitor a number of common vapors and are unaffected by temperatures in processes as diverse as flexographic printing and ceramic kilns.

The essence of the PrevEx detection system is its ability to perform accurately under the demands of the industrial environment. Its sensing flame technology ensures unmatched safety and ultra-fast response times, even when sampling a mixture of several different flammable vapors. It is in recognition of these features that the PrevEx analyzers were deemed complaint with ATEX Directives, which embody the European requirements for equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
