CoorsTek, Inc. recently updated its outlook for the third quarter of 2001. The company is projecting revenue of $81.0 to $83.0 million, slightly lower than previously disclosed projections, and a gross margin between 10 and 10.5%, versus a forecasted gross margin of 16.0%. CoorsTek expects selling, general and administrative expenses (SG&A), which includes research and development expenses, to be in line with prior expectations. This revised outlook reflects persistent market weakness primarily in the semiconductor capital equipment and telecommunications industries.

CoorsTek intends to provide additional guidance regarding its fourth quarter outlook in the third quarter earnings release and conference call on October 24, 2001. For information concerning the conference call and other company information, visit http://www.coorstek.com.
