Cox Named General Manager of Eliane USA

Eliane has promoted Mike Cox to the position of general manager for Eliane USA. After joining the Brazil-based porcelain tile manufacturer from Mohawk Industries, Cox served as national sales manager for Eliane and will now oversee all aspects of the U.S. operation from its Carrollton, Texas, headquarters. Cox replaces Marcio Muller, who has assumed the position of vice president for Eliane North America.

“I’m fortunate to work for people that I admire,” said Cox. “Eliane has quality people doing the right things with quality products. We have an extensive product offering, and our expanded warehouse presence allows us to operate in similar fashion to a domestic manufacturer. While other overseas manufacturers have moved away from the market during the downturn, we have continued to invest in our North American business. We’ll continue to offer great products at a competitive price, listen to what the marketplace tells us will sell, and be a great business partner to our customers.”
