CTNA Makes Personnel Announcements (posted 1/8/08)

CeramTec North America Corp. (CTNA) recently announced that Michael J. Mueller has joined the company as president, and Roberto Vigo has been appointed director of Business Development/Marketing.

CeramTec North America Corp. (CTNA) recently announced that Michael J. Mueller has joined the company as president. Mueller joins CTNA with more than 29 years of experience in advanced materials and specialty chemicals manufacturing. Over the past three years as a vice president of the Ceramic Business Unit of Sulzer Metco, Mueller has been successful in developing new business, driving global expansion and enhancing operational performance that is focused on customer response.

“Mr. Mueller has an impressive track record for driving sales growth, improving operational and quality performance, and emphasizing responsiveness to the customers,” said Ulf D. Zimmermann, Ph.D., chairman of CeramTec AG. “I’m confident that Mr. Mueller will continue to grow our business while continuing to add value for our customers.”

In addition, Roberto Vigo was recently appointed the company’s director of Business Development/Marketing. He will handle business development for CTNA’s entire product line.
