This company has negotiated a long-term agreement to exclusively manufacture and market the GYCO, Inc. RayMasR mass flow meter, reportedly the first product to measure mass flow in a pneumatic conveying application with no moving parts or mechanical device coming into contact with materials. The RayMasR meter (patent number 5,986,553 with foreign and other patents pending) measures the solid particulate flow through process lines, gravity or pneumatic. According to the company, flow measurement of 0 to more than 300,000 lbs/hr can be achieved by using a low energy microwave device that measures the intensity of reflected Doppler-shifted energy.
