Deacom, Inc.: Online ERP Software Training (posted 10/24/08)

Deacom, Inc. has introduced an online version of its business software training program, DEACOM® University. Using the web-based platform, DEACOM University will reintroduce its live group courses, beginning with DEACOM Financial Statements November 19-20.

DEACOM University Online was developed to incorporate quality enterprise resource planning (ERP) software training in a convenient delivery method. During the first day, participants are taught functionality concepts in a webinar format from an experienced instructor. Day two focuses on the application of course concepts through a hands-on lab, in which participants work with actual company data. The online format allows the instructor to conduct private breakout sessions with each participant, thus supporting the secure exchange of proprietary information.

“We specially designed DEACOM University Online to provide our users with a highly accessible training program that continues our tradition of combining personal instructor interaction with relevant coursework,” said Jay Deakins, president of Deacom. “By offering both formats-classroom and online-we aim to make ERP software training a flexible process for our users.”

Upcoming DEACOM University Online courses include DEACOM Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) on December 10-11, followed by monthly classroom and online courses on specialized DEACOM functions throughout 2009. Both classroom and online programs of DEACOM University are accredited by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
