Works will be juried from images in two categories, undergraduate and graduate. Cash merit awards will be determined by the jurors from the actual works and will be announced during the Opening Reception and at the Second Members’ Business Meeting. Awards will include: the NCECA Undergraduate Student Award for Excellence, the NCECA Graduate Student Award of Excellence, the KBH Merit Award, the Soldner Clay Mixers by Muddy Elbow Manufacturing Award of Excellence, the Rodger Lang Award for Student Excellence, the Aardvark Clay Purchase Award, the AMACO Award for Excellence, and the Retired Professors RSJE Merit Award.
Jurors include Geoffrey Wheeler, studio potter and assistant professor of Ceramics, Department of Art and Design, University of Wisconsin-Stout; and Michaelene Walsh, associate professor of Art at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
