Dentsply International recently announced it will relocate its corporate headquarters to the Susquehanna Commerce Center in downtown York, Pa. The company has purchased the fifth and sixth floors of the West Building, located at 221 West Philadelphia St., and secured approximately 45,000 square feet of new office space. The office design and construction phase will begin within the next 30 days, and the move is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year. The purchase price and completion costs are expected to be approximately $5.5 million. The current headquarters building at 570 West College Ave. will be retained for continued use and further growth of the company's York-based business operating units, as well as its North American Group Marketing, Information Technology and Shared Services Groups.
